Displex PRIVACY SAFE afneembare 2-weg privacyfilter voor desktopmonitor 27'' (16:10)

The Displex PRIVACY SAFE removable 2-way privacy filter is designed for 27" desktop monitors with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The filter limits the viewing angle to ±30° (approximately 60° total), making the display appear black from side views and protecting sensitive on-screen information in shared or public environments. It features Dual Surface Technology with a matt anti-reflective side to reduce glare and fingerprints and a glossy side for clearer images and stronger colour brilliance. The filter also provides scratch resistance with a 5H hardness rating and an integrated blue light filter to reduce short-wave blue light exposure.

Advantages

The privacy filter offers two usable surface finishes in one product, enabling users to choose between anti-reflective matt for bright environments and a glossy side for improved colour and contrast indoors. Magnetic attachment with tested neodymium magnets enables quick, tool-free installation and removal without leaving marks on the monitor. Limiting the visible viewing angle to approximately 60° helps protect personal and confidential information from side glances while the 5H surface hardness increases resistance to everyday scratches. The integrated blue light reduction supports reduced eye strain during prolonged use.

Suitable for

• Office workstations and shared desks where screen privacy is required
• Public service counters, reception areas and open-plan offices
• Home offices where family members or visitors pass by
• Healthcare, finance or legal environments handling sensitive data
• Situations requiring quick removal and reattachment of a privacy screen

• Privacy direction: 2-way (left and right side visibility restricted to ±30°)
• Surface finishes: dual-sided — matt anti-reflective and glossy
• Hardness: 5H surface hardness for scratch resistance
• Attachment method: magnetic mounting with neodymium magnets
• Additional filter: integrated blue light reduction
• Finish options: matt side reduces glare and fingerprints; glossy side enhances colour brilliance

How to use

Align the magnetic frame or strips to the edges of a compatible 27" 16:10 desktop monitor, then attach the privacy filter so that the magnets secure it in place. For normal indoor use where colour and contrast are important, position the glossy side facing the viewer; for bright environments or to reduce reflections and fingerprints, turn the filter so the matt side faces the viewer. Remove the filter easily by lifting it free from the magnetic attachment when it is not needed. Clean the surface with a soft, lint-free cloth and a screen-safe cleaner; avoid abrasive materials to preserve the 5H surface finish.

Recommendations

Use the matt side in well-lit or sunlit locations to minimise reflections and fingerprints; switch to the glossy side in dimmer environments to benefit from improved colour and image clarity. Periodically check the magnet attachment for proper alignment and keep the filter clean with appropriate, non-abrasive cleaning materials to maintain visibility and scratch resistance.
