KVM-switch 2-poorts DisplayPort Tripp Lite B004-DP2UA2-K, 4K@60Hz, USB-toetsenbord/muis, audio, kabel

The Tripp Lite B004-DP2UA2-K is a compact 2-port DisplayPort KVM switch that lets you control two DisplayPort-equipped computers from a single DisplayPort monitor, USB keyboard and USB mouse. It supports Ultra High Definition video up to 3840 × 2160 (4K) at 60 Hz, DisplayPort Dual Mode (DP++) and Multi-Stream Transport (MST) for multi-monitor setups via one DisplayPort output. The unit includes all required cables and supports Windows, Mac, Linux and Sun with no drivers required.

Advantages

This KVM switch provides video at 4K@60Hz and ensures consistent display performance by passing the console monitor’s EDID to connected computers. It offers independent switching of audio and video, built-in 3.5 mm mini-stereo jacks for microphone and speaker connections, and USB keyboard/mouse support. Adding an optional powered USB 2.0 hub enables sharing of USB peripherals such as printers, external drives, webcams and thumb drives between both computers. Multiple switching methods are supported: remote port selector, keyboard hotkeys and mouse scroll switching.

Suitable for

• Desktop workstations that require control of two DisplayPort PCs with a single console
• Small server consoles or IT support desks managing two systems
• Workflows needing 4K@60Hz video and EDID/HDCP compatibility

Use the remote port selector, keyboard hotkeys or the mouse scroll-wheel to switch control between computers. The switch passes EDID from the console monitor to both computers to maintain optimal video settings automatically.

Recommendations

For reliable USB peripheral sharing, use a powered USB 2.0 hub when connecting high-power devices (external hard drives, multifunction printers). Place the unit on a stable desktop surface and ensure DisplayPort cables and adapters (for DVI/HDMI via DP++) support the required 4K@60Hz bandwidth.
