EDELRID Red Chili Clue klimschoenen - Night/Snow

The Red Chili Clue breaks away from the typical all-rounder by pairing a moderately downturned, slightly asymmetric last with a performance-fit upper that stays comfortable through long sessions. Instead of a compromise shoe that feels vague on small edges, the Clue delivers precise feedback and a secure heel without forcing an aggressive break-in period. Night/Snow colourway adds a clean, dark blue and grey upper with white accents that looks sharp both at the crag and in the gym.

Highlights

• Velcro closure with two straps for quick on/off and a dialled fit
• Red Chili RX-1 Allround sole rubber (4.5 mm) grips well on volumes, smears, and edges
• RC-Support midsole provides medium stiffness for support without sacrificing sensitivity
• RC-Heel design cups the heel securely for confident heel hooks
• Unlined forefoot with partial lining in heel and tongue balances breathability and comfort
• Vegan-friendly synthetic microfiber upper
• Unisex sizing with a snug, performance-oriented fit

In daily use

From bouldering circuits to long sport routes, the Clue handles a wide range of terrain. The moderate downturn keeps power on steep sections while remaining flat enough for smearing on slabs. The two-strap Velcro system lets you adjust tension quickly between burns, and the medium toe box volume suits most foot shapes without excessive pressure. Because the forefoot is unlined, the shoe stretches minimally and retains its shape over time, while the partial lining in the heel and tongue reduces hot spots. The RX-1 Allround rubber offers a balanced blend of durability and friction, making it a reliable choice for indoor training and outdoor projecting alike.
