Ekivalan OM2 duplex glasvezel-patchkabel SC/SC 30m oranje COZ050DCDC2SO0300A

In data centres and campus backbones, network engineers use this Ekivalan duplex fibre patch cable to link switches, routers, and patch panels over distances up to 30 metres. The OM2 multimode fibre supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 82 metres, making it suitable for short-to-medium runs in enterprise LANs.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM2 multimode, 50/125 µm core/cladding
• Connectors: SC to SC, duplex, UPC polish
• Length: 30 m
• Jacket colour: orange
• Bandwidth: 500 MHz·km at 850 nm and 1300 nm

Why choose it

The ceramic ferrule connectors ensure low insertion loss (<0.3 dB) and high return loss (>20 dB), providing reliable signal integrity. The zipcord construction allows easy separation of the two fibres for individual routing, while the orange LSZH jacket meets fire safety requirements for indoor installations.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting fibre distribution frames to active equipment
• Backbone links between switches in different racks
• Extending fibre runs in structured cabling systems

Good to know

This cable is compliant with TIA/EIA-568-C.3 and IEC 60793-2-10 Type A1a.1/A1a.2 standards. It is designed for indoor use and should not be pulled with excessive force; the minimum bend radius is 30 mm.
