Ekivalan OM3 duplex glasvezel patchkabel SC/ST, 50/125 µm, aqua, 7 m COZOM3DCST2SA0070A

Data centre technicians and network engineers rely on this Ekivalan OM3 duplex fibre patch cable for high-speed backbone links between switches, patch panels, and media converters. The SC-to-ST connectors and 7-metre aqua jacket fit neatly into structured cabling runs where 10 Gigabit Ethernet over multimode fibre is required.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode, 50/125 µm core/cladding
• Connectors: SC to ST, duplex
• Length: 7 m
• Jacket colour: aqua, LSZH material
• Supports 10GbE up to 300 m at 850 nm
• Insertion loss: < 0.3 dB, return loss: > 30 dB

Why choose it

OM3 fibre is laser-optimised for VCSEL transceivers, giving you reliable 10G performance over longer distances than OM2. The LSZH jacket reduces toxic smoke in case of fire, making it suitable for enclosed spaces.

Ideal use cases

• 10G Ethernet backbone connections in data centres
• Fibre channel storage area networks
• Longer patch runs between equipment racks

Good to know

The cable is duplex, meaning two fibres in one jacket for simultaneous transmit and receive. SC connectors use a push-pull latching mechanism, while ST connectors twist-lock with a bayonet mount.
