ELA-versterker Audac COM104 40W 70/100V zwart

The Audac COM104 is a 40W public address amplifier engineered for background music and voice paging in commercial and institutional environments. It supports 70V and 100V constant-voltage speaker lines, enabling straightforward distribution to multiple ceiling or wall speakers. The unit’s compact black enclosure is designed for easy integration into retail shops, offices, classrooms and similar venues where reliable PA amplification and simple system layout are required.

Advantages

The COM104 provides stable 40-watt output with selectable 70V/100V line operation for compatibility with a wide range of passive loudspeaker installations. Its compact form and black finish allow discreet mounting in visible areas. Built-in protection and reliable transformer-based outputs reduce the risk of overloads and ensure even power distribution across long cable runs. The amplifier’s straightforward controls make setup and daily operation accessible to facility staff without specialist audio expertise.

Suitable for

• Retail stores and shopping areas
• Office background music and paging
• School classrooms, corridors and common areas
• Small auditoriums and meeting rooms
• Restaurants, cafés and hospitality spaces

Key specifications

• Amplifier output power: 40 W
• Output types: Constant-voltage 70 V and 100 V speaker lines
• Channels: Mono PA amplifier
• Enclosure color: Black
• Intended use: Background music and voice paging for commercial/institutional spaces

How to use

Install the Audac COM104 in a ventilated location close to the input sources and speaker distribution wiring. Connect audio sources (mixer, microphone or line-level device) to the input terminals, select the appropriate output voltage (70V or 100V) for the speaker array, and run the speaker lines using the specified impedance taps on the connected speakers. Adjust the amplifier gain to obtain clear background music or intelligible voice paging while avoiding clipping and overload indicators. Routine checks of connections and ventilation will help maintain consistent performance.

Recommendations

For optimal speech intelligibility and even coverage, balance speaker placement and choose transformer tap settings so that no single speaker exceeds its rated power. Use properly rated cables and follow local electrical codes when installing the constant-voltage speaker lines. If feeding multiple zones, consider centralizing source control with a mixer or zone controller to manage levels and inputs.
