Mengversterker Omnitronic MA-120P 120W ELA, ELA-mengversterker met 120 W uitgangsvermogen

Omnitronic MA-120P is a mixer amplifier designed for ELA (electro-acoustic) and public address systems, providing 120 W of output power. It integrates multiple input channels with built-in amplification to support paging, background music distribution and small venue sound reinforcement. The unit is intended for permanent installations where clear speech intelligibility and reliable audio distribution are required, such as retail spaces, offices, schools and meeting rooms.

Advantages

The Omnitronic MA-120P combines a compact mixer section with a power amplifier in a single chassis, reducing the need for separate components and simplifying installation. Its 120 W output supports driving multiple speakers in typical small to medium ELA zones while maintaining intelligible voice reproduction. The front panel controls allow quick local adjustments for level and source selection, and the built-in amplifier reduces cabling and rack space compared with separate systems.

How to use

Install the Omnitronic MA-120P in a suitable equipment rack or shelf with adequate ventilation. Connect microphone(s) and line-level sources to the corresponding inputs, and route speaker outputs to the distributed speaker wiring using appropriate cable and connectors. Set input gain and master volume to achieve clear, undistorted sound, and adjust any tone or priority controls as required for speech intelligibility. For paging, use the dedicated microphone input and verify that its level and any ducking or priority functions are configured to override background music if necessary.

Recommendations

Place the unit in a temperature-stable environment and ensure proper ventilation to avoid overheating. Use speaker lines and impedances that match the amplifier’s specifications, position microphones away from loudspeakers to reduce feedback, and perform level checks during commissioning to confirm even coverage and intelligibility across the served areas.
