Elektrisch relais Hager ESC225S, 230 V AC ingang, 25 A contactstroom, grijs, 17,85×60×83 mm

Hager ESC225S is an electrical relay engineered for switching AC circuits with a 230 V AC input and 50–60 Hz operating frequency. The relay provides a contact current capacity of 25 A and a low control load of 2.2 VA. Finished in grey and measuring 17.85 × 60 × 83 mm, the compact housing is suitable for installation in control panels or DIN-rail style assemblies in residential and light-commercial environments.

Advantages

The relay combines a robust 25 A contact rating with a compact footprint, enabling space-efficient installations. Its 230 V AC coil input and low load consumption make it compatible with standard supply networks while minimizing control circuit demand. The neutral grey housing supports unobtrusive integration into existing panels and switchgear.

How to use

Mount the relay according to panel or DIN-rail mounting requirements and connect the coil to a 230 V AC supply with correct polarity where applicable. Wire the switched circuit through the relay contacts using cable sections appropriate for the 25 A rating and observe local wiring regulations. Verify secure terminal connections and proper insulation before applying power. Test operation by energising the coil and confirming the contact switching under no-load conditions, then under the intended load.

Recommendations

Use conductors and terminal ferrules rated for 25 A continuous current and follow applicable standards for overcurrent protection. Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid mounting near heat sources. Periodically inspect terminals for tightness and signs of wear in applications with frequent switching.
