Elektrische netstekker Brennenstuhl 1081310 zwart rood

The Brennenstuhl 1081310 electrical power plug in black and red is a robust connector designed for safe and reliable power transmission in domestic and light industrial environments. Constructed with a durable plastic housing and rated IP44, the plug provides protection against solid objects greater than 1 mm and water splashes, making it suitable for outdoor or damp locations where a secure electrical connection is required. Its compact form factor and clear color contrast simplify installation and visual identification during setup and maintenance.

Advantages

The housing material offers mechanical durability and resistance to impact and weathering, while the IP44 protection level reduces the risk of moisture-related faults. The plug is engineered for stable contact and low electrical resistance, helping maintain consistent power delivery. Its ergonomic design enables straightforward handling during insertion and removal, and the color-coded appearance supports quick identification of circuits or phases when used in multi-connector arrangements.

Key specifications

• Housing material: durable plastic
• Ingress protection: IP44 (protection against splashing water and objects >1 mm)
• Color: black and red
• Contact design: secure electrical contacts for low-resistance connection
• Application environment: indoor and outdoor (damp locations)

How to use

Before connecting, ensure the power supply is switched off and compatible with the plug’s rated voltage and current. Inspect the housing and contacts for damage or contamination; clean and replace the plug if any defects are found. Insert the cable conductors into the designated terminals according to local wiring standards and tighten the clamp or screws securely to prevent conductor movement. Reassemble the housing and mount the plug in a dry state when possible. For outdoor use, position the connection to minimize direct exposure to heavy rain and avoid prolonged immersion.

Recommendations

The plug should be installed by a qualified person or according to the applicable electrical regulations. Regularly check terminals and the housing for wear, and avoid using the plug if it shows cracks, corrosion, or loose contacts. Use appropriate strain relief and cable glands for outdoor installations and select compatible mating connectors rated for the same protection level.
