Equip 16-poorts Cat.6 afgeschermd patchpanel, lichtgrijs

The equip® Patch Panel is a 19" 1U network distribution unit designed for rack mounting and organised cabling. It provides 16 shielded RJ45 ports and supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet with a maximum data rate of 1000 Mbit/s. The panel is made of durable steel, finished in light grey, and each port is clearly numbered to simplify identification during installation and maintenance.

Advantages

This 16-port Cat.6 shielded patch panel offers integrated cable management for improved routing and strain relief, and is compatible with both LSA and 110 termination standards. Shielded RJ45 ports reduce electromagnetic interference when used with shielded patch cords and cabling, and the compact 1U form factor conserves rack space while providing straightforward port identification through printed port numbers.

Suitable for

• Data centers and server rooms requiring 1U rack-mounted patching
• Structured cabling installations using Cat.6 shielded cabling
• Network equipment racks where clear port identification is needed

How to use

Mount the panel in a standard 19" rack occupying 1U of space. Terminate incoming shielded Cat.6 cables using either LSA or 110 termination tools according to your cabling standard. Use shielded RJ45 patch cords to connect active equipment to the front ports, observing correct cable routing through the integrated cable management features to maintain strain relief and minimise interference. Verify each connection using network testing tools after termination.

Recommendations

For best performance, pair the patch panel with equip® shielded patch cords and follow shielding grounding practices. Use appropriate termination tools and test each link to ensure compliance with Cat.6 performance requirements.
