Equip 24-poorts Cat.6A afgeschermd patchpanel, lichtgrijs

The equip® Cat.6A Patch Panel is a 19" 1U rack-mount network distribution unit with integrated cable management and strain-relief features compliant with Krone IDC standard. It provides 24 fully-shielded RJ45 ports and is designed to support 10G performance when used with equip® Cat.6A patch cords and appropriate cabling. Each port is labelled with its port number for easy identification. The panel has a compact 1U form factor and light grey finish suitable for standard racks.

Advantages

The fully-shielded RJ45 ports reduce electromagnetic interference and support high-speed 10G data transfer rates. Integrated cable management and strain-relief help maintain organized cabling and reliable terminations. Gold-plated contacts ensure stable connections and compatibility with Krone IDC terminations. The 24-port layout optimises rack space while providing clear port numbering for fast identification and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Data centre and server room patching
• 10G Ethernet network installations
• Structured cabling in office and commercial environments
• Rack-mounted network distribution where shielded connections are required

How to use

Mount the patch panel in a standard 19" equipment rack occupying one U of rack space. Terminate field cables using Krone IDC tooling to the rear IDC contacts according to standard wiring (T568A/T568B) and route cables through the integrated cable management and strain-relief features. Connect network devices using equip® Cat.6A shielded patch cords for optimal 10G performance, and verify link status with appropriate network testers.

Recommendations

Use shielded Cat.6A patch cords and maintain proper grounding of the rack and cabling system to preserve shielding effectiveness. Follow T568A or T568B wiring consistently across the installation and use cable testers to confirm performance after termination.
