Equip 404539 netwerkkabel grijs 305 m Cat6 F/UTP (FTP)

EQUIP 404539 is a 305 m Cat6 F/UTP (FTP) network cable in grey supplied on a reel. It is intended for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) installations and provides shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for structured cabling, LAN deployments and backbone runs that require Gigabit Ethernet performance.

Advantages

The F/UTP (FTP) shielding improves resistance to external electromagnetic noise compared with unshielded cables while maintaining Cat6 performance for Gigabit Ethernet. The 305 m reel format simplifies long runs and installations and the neutral grey colour fits standard cabling environments. The cable is delivered without connectors for termination on-site to match specific connector and patching requirements.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in offices and data closets
• LAN deployments and horizontal patching
• Backbone runs requiring Gigabit Ethernet
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable length: 305 m
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Category: Cat6 F/UTP (FTP)
• Colour: Grey
• Connectors: No connectors (bulk cable on reel)
• Weight: 16.5 kg

How to use

Unroll the cable from the reel and route it through cable trays, conduits or along planned pathways. Terminate each end with appropriate Cat6 shielded connectors or patch panels following manufacturer guidelines and local cabling standards. Test each link after termination for continuity, pair integrity and Gigabit performance using a network cable tester. Use proper strain relief and grounding for the shielded cable where required.

Recommendations

For best results, install this Cat6 F/UTP (FTP) cable away from high-power electrical lines and sources of strong EMI. Ensure shield termination and grounding are performed according to site standards to preserve noise protection and Gigabit performance.
