Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP patchkabel, grijs, 2,0 m, 10 stuks/set

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP RJ-45 2m grey patch cable is designed for high-bandwidth network environments and supports data rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s (10GBase-T). The cable uses S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to reduce interference and improve connection reliability. At 2 m length and grey colour, it suits short to medium internal cabling between switches, servers and workstations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides overall shielding plus individually shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable contacts and corrosion resistance. Manufactured and tested to Cat.6A standards, the cable delivers the performance required for 10G applications with an improved signal-to-noise margin.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T networks and high-bandwidth LAN backbones
• Connections between switches, routers, servers and NAS
• Office and data centre horizontal cabling over short to medium distances (2 m)

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet port on your network devices. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the 2 m cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For optimal performance, use with Cat.6A-compliant ports and network equipment rated for 10GBase-T.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines and maintain bend radius recommended by the manufacturer. Verify compatibility with connected devices and test links after installation when deploying in critical network segments.
