Lindy 48382 netwerkkabel zwart 2 m Cat5e F/UTP (FTP)

The Lindy 48382 networking cable is a 2 m Cat5e F/UTP patch lead with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, manufactured and tested to ISO 11801 standards. The cable’s foil-shielded untwisted pair (F/UTP) design reduces electromagnetic interference, providing consistent performance for data transmission in home and office networks and in AV or security camera installations.

Advantages

The snagless strain relief prevents damage to the connector latch during installation and removal, extending connector life. Each cable is 100% performance tested and backed by Lindy’s “no surprises” guarantee. Shielding improves resistance to external interference compared to unshielded alternatives, and the Cat5e specification supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networking.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and hubs
• Patch panels and print servers
• AV equipment and security camera connections

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into compatible network ports on devices such as computers, switches, hubs, patch panels or cameras until the latch clicks. When removing, press the latch to release the connector and pull straight out to avoid stressing the cable. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise where possible.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the Lindy Cat5e F/UTP cable in environments where moderate shielding against interference is required and avoid running the cable in parallel with mains power cables. Replace if the connector latch or shielding is visibly damaged.
