Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP patchkabel, wit, 10,0 m, 5 stuks/set

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum RJ-45 S/FTP 10m patch cable is designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10000 Mbit/s. With RJ-45 connectors at both ends and a 10-meter length, this white S/FTP cable provides enhanced shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity in demanding network environments, including 10GBase-T applications.

Advantages

The Cat.6A S/FTP construction offers improved bandwidth and a higher signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, supporting reliable 10G data rates and reduced crosstalk. The fully shielded pair configuration helps prevent external interference and ensures stable performance over the full 10 m length. Standard RJ-45 terminations provide broad compatibility with network equipment.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T networks requiring 10 Gbit/s data transfer
• Server rooms and data centers with high-density cabling
• Workstations, switches and patch panels in office environments
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference where shielding is needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6A (Platinum)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield plus individually foiled twisted pairs)
• Maximum data rate: 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbit/s)
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 10 m
• Colour: White
• Weight: 0.39 kg

How to use

Route the Cat.6A patch cable between network devices such as switches, routers, servers or patch panels, avoiding sharp bends and tight loops to maintain cable performance. Insert RJ-45 plugs fully into the corresponding ports until they click. For best results in 10G networks, use certified Cat.6A ports and minimize cable runs exceeding recommended lengths in structured cabling installations.

Recommendations

To preserve shielding effectiveness, keep the cable separated from power lines and strong EMI sources, secure connections at both ends, and avoid excessive pulling force during installation. Use in combination with shielded RJ-45 ports or patch panels to maintain the full S/FTP benefits.
