Equip USB 4 ultra slanke C-naar-C-kabel, 1,2 m, PD240W, 4K/60Hz, 40 Gbps, zwart

The EQUIP USB4 Gen 3x2 C-to-C cable (1.2 m) is a slim, high-performance connection cable designed for fast data transfer, high-resolution video output and high-power charging. It uses USB4 technology with backward compatibility to Thunderbolt 3 and 4, and combines a braided jacket and aluminum housings to balance flexibility and durability for mobile and desktop use.

Advantages

This ultra-slim cable supports data transfer rates up to 40 Gbps and video output up to 8K@60 Hz via DisplayPort 1.4a and DP Alt Mode, while an integrated E-marker chipset enables Power Delivery 3.1 up to 48V/5A (240 W). Double shielding and a premium braided outer jacket minimise interference and improve signal stability, and the compact 3.2 mm outer diameter keeps the cable flexible and easy to route.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops, tablets and smartphones to docks and displays
• Fast data transfer to external SSDs and high-speed storage
• Powering and charging power-hungry laptops and professional devices up to 240 W
• High-resolution video output for monitors and TVs supporting DP Alt Mode

When it may not be suitable

This cable is not intended for use with devices that require proprietary charging interfaces or more than 240 W of power. For setups that depend on legacy non-USB4-only features or very long-distance signal runs, an alternative cable or active extension may be required to ensure reliable performance.

How to use

Connect one USB-C plug to your host device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or dock) and the other plug to the target device such as an external SSD, monitor or power adapter. The cable negotiates power delivery automatically when both ends support PD 3.1; ensure connected devices support the required PD profile for maximum charging power. For video output, select the correct input on the display and enable DP Alt Mode if necessary in device settings.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm both devices support USB4/Thunderbolt compatibility and the required PD profile for up to 240 W
• Check display device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and the desired resolution (e.g., 4K or 8K)
• For long cable runs or very high-power setups, verify that cable length and power delivery meet your system requirements

Recommendations

Use the cable for regular desktop and mobile workflows where high data rates, high-resolution video and up to 240 W charging are needed. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors and keep the braided jacket clean to preserve shielding and mechanical integrity.
