Ethernet-patchkabel QOLTEC CAT6, 2×RJ45, 20 m, zwart

QOLTEC CAT6 UTP patch cable, 20 m, with two RJ45 connectors in black. Designed for Gigabit Ethernet networks, this cable provides CAT6 performance to ensure reliable data transfer and reduced crosstalk. The flexible outer jacket allows easier routing and installation in office, server room and home network environments. The cable is suitable for connecting switches, routers, computers and patch panels over longer distances within a local network.

Advantages

The cable supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds with CAT6 specification, offering improved bandwidth and signal integrity compared to lower-category cables. UTP construction reduces unnecessary shielding for standard network installations while maintaining effective noise performance. The 20 m length covers typical runs between racks or rooms without the need for intermediate connections, and the flexible black jacket simplifies cable management and concealment. Standard RJ45 connectors ensure compatibility with common networking equipment.

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the respective network port on your devices until the connector latch clicks into place. For best signal quality, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as high-power electrical cabling or large transformers. If terminating at patch panels or wall outlets, ensure connectors are fully seated and test the link with a network tester when possible to verify continuity and performance.

Recommendations

For stable Gigabit connections, route the cable with gentle bends, avoid running it in parallel with mains power lines, and secure it with appropriate cable ties or clips to prevent strain on the RJ45 plugs. Use patch panels or switch ports rated for CAT6 where longer-term or high-throughput installations are expected.
