Ethernet-patchkabel ShiverPeaks 75711-AG CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF, high-speed LAN-verbinding

ShiverPeaks 75711-AG is a CAT 6A S/FTP PIMF Ethernet patch cable engineered for high-speed LAN and data center applications. The cable provides shielded transmission with individual foil around each twisted pair plus an overall braid, which reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference and supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over twisted pairs. Designed for use with network switches, servers, routers and structured cabling, this halogen-free, green 1.0 m patch cable offers a compact, reliable connection where shielded CAT 6A performance is required.

Advantages

The combination of individual pair foil and an overall braided shield (S/FTP PIMF) ensures improved protection against alien crosstalk and external electromagnetic disturbances. As a CAT 6A cable it is specified to support 10 Gbps transmissions over twisted pairs, making it suitable for demanding LAN, server-room and data-centre links. Its halogen-free construction reduces the risk of toxic gas emissions in the event of a fire, and the 1.0 m length and green jacket make identification and routing in structured cabling installations straightforward.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections and office networks requiring 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Interconnections between switches, patch panels, routers and servers in data centres
• Structured cabling installations where shielded CAT 6A performance is necessary
• Environments needing halogen-free cabling for safety and compliance

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil + overall braid)
• Performance: supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over twisted pairs
• Length: 1.0 m
• Jacket: halogen-free
• Colour: green

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network port on a switch, router or server and the other end to the corresponding patch panel or device port, ensuring secure insertion until the connector latches. When installing multiple cables in a rack or cabinet, route the ShiverPeaks 75711-AG to minimize sharp bends and avoid close proximity to heavy power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve shield performance. Use appropriate grounding of shielded infrastructure according to site practices and standards.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this shielded CAT 6A cable in fully shielded systems and terminate to compatible shielded connectors and patch panels. Maintain bend radius recommendations and avoid excessive tensile stress during installation. Verify grounding and bonding of the shield at one or both ends according to your cabling standard to prevent ground loops and ensure EMC protection.
