Ewent 2,0 m Cat6 UTP-netwerkkabel zwart 2 m U/UTP (UTP)

The Ewent 2.0m Cat6 RJ-45 U/UTP networking cable is a 2-meter Ethernet cable engineered for gigabit networks and general wired connections. It uses Cat6 cabling technology compatible with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) standards and features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for stable signal transfer. The cable’s black jacket provides a discreet appearance for home and office installations while maintaining the shielding characteristics of U/UTP design.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable supports data transfer rates of up to 1000 Mbit/s and is suitable for high-speed internet and local area network links. Gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and improve contact reliability over time. The U/UTP construction balances performance and flexibility, making the cable easy to route while limiting external interference under typical installation conditions.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and network ports in home or small office networks
• Wired connections for desktops, laptops and networked printers
• Gigabit Ethernet links for streaming, video calls and file transfers
• Temporary or permanent patching in structured cabling setups

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with twisted pairs)
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Product colour: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (router, switch or wall outlet) and the other into the device requiring a wired connection. Ensure connectors are fully seated until they click to establish a secure physical connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the cable path and keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power cables or large motors.

Recommendations

For reliable gigabit performance, use the cable for runs within recommended distances for Ethernet (2 m in this case) and pair it with Cat6-compliant ports and equipment. If you require longer permanent runs or additional protection from electromagnetic interference, consider shielded cabling or structured cabling solutions designed for your installation environment.
