EXERTIS CONNECT Cat 6A S/FTP-patchkabel, 0,5 m, zwart, slank Snagless-Boot 858483

Short patch cables in tight spaces often kink at the connector, causing intermittent links or premature failure. This 0.5 m Cat 6A S/FTP cable solves that with an especially slim snagless boot that protects the bend radius without blocking adjacent ports on high-density switches.

Who is it for

Network technicians and IT administrators who need reliable 10 Gigabit links in server rooms, data centres, or structured cabling installations where space is limited and performance cannot be compromised.

Main features

• Cat 6A performance up to 500 MHz bandwidth, supporting 10GBASE-T Ethernet.
• S/FTP shielding (PiMF) with pairs individually wrapped in metal foil plus an overall braid for superior EMI immunity.
• Especially slim snagless boot protects the clip and allows high port density.
• LSZH jacket is halogen-free, reducing toxic smoke in case of fire.
• Gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance.
• Stranded copper conductors (AWG 26/7) provide flexibility for frequent patching.

Tips

For best performance, keep the cable away from power lines and avoid sharp bends. The slim boot is ideal for 48-port patch panels where standard boots would block adjacent jacks.
