EXERTIS CONNECT glasvezel-patchkabel Eco, OM4 50/125µm, ST naar SC duplex, erika-violet, 5m 392824

In a data center or enterprise network, this 5-meter fiber optic patch cable links ST-terminated equipment to SC Duplex ports, supporting high-speed multimode links. Its OM4 50/125µm core and UPC polish ensure low insertion loss for reliable 10/40/100G Ethernet connections over short distances.

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Fiber type: OM4 multimode 50/125 µm
• Connectors: 2x ST to SC Duplex
• Polish: UPC
• Jacket: LSZH, Erika-violet
• Attenuation: 2.5 dB/km @ 850 nm, 0.8 dB/km @ 1300 nm
• Bandwidth (EMB): 4700 MHz·km @ 850 nm

Why choose it

OM4 fiber supports higher bandwidth than OM3, enabling longer reach for 10G, 40G, and 100G applications. The duplex construction with two fibers allows bidirectional communication, and the LSZH jacket reduces toxic smoke in case of fire, making it suitable for indoor use in populated areas.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting switches, routers, or servers in data centers
• Storage area networks (SAN) requiring high-speed links
• Backbone cabling in enterprise LANs

Good to know

The cable is compliant with IEC 60793-2-10 Type A1a.3 for OM4 fiber. The Erika-violet jacket color helps identify OM4 cables in structured cabling systems.
