Extend-kit Logitech Extend zwart gerecycled kunststof USB-C-kabel

Deploy Logitech Extend with category cabling to enable simple BYOD and Android-based meetings. Users can walk into a meeting room, connect via the USB-C cable, and start a call on their laptop or mobile device using their preferred video platform without installing additional drivers.

Advantages

Logitech Extend provides fast USB-C connections for laptops and mobile devices, enabling quick plug-and-play meetings. It supports two main use cases—BYOD passthrough for Android-based rooms and BYOD extension for rooms using Logitech conference cameras—so hosts can run meetings from their own devices while using the room’s camera and display when needed. Category cabling allows reliable connectivity in larger rooms.

Key specifications

• Connection type: USB-C plug-in for laptop or mobile device
• Cabling: Category cabling (for extended reach in larger rooms)
• Compatibility: Android-based meeting rooms and BYOD setups; compatible with Rally Bar family and other Logitech conference cameras
• Driver requirements: No additional drivers required for basic BYOD functionality
• Use cases: BYOD Passthrough and BYOD Extension

How to use

Install category cabling between the user connection point and the room system. For an Android-based room with a Rally Bar, connect the laptop or mobile device using the USB-C cable to bypass the room’s designated video provider or to use the room camera and display for meetings. For PC-based rooms, deploy Logitech Swytch for a single-cable connection to the room’s camera and display.

Recommendations

For best performance in larger rooms, use certified category cabling and verify compatibility with the Rally Bar family or the specific Logitech conference camera model installed in the room.
