Externe NVMe M.2 SSD-kloonstation DIGITUS DA-71545-1, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, ondersteunt 2 M.2-schijven, zwart

The Digitus NVMe cloning station (DA-71545-1) is a dual M.2 SSD docking solution that connects via USB-C and includes an integrated SD Express card reader. It supports two M.2 NVMe SSDs up to 4 TB per slot, offers USB 3.2 Gen2 speeds up to 10 Gbps, and provides an offline one-button cloning function to duplicate drives without a PC. The unit is plug-and-play, supports hot-swap operation and displays cloning progress with LED indicators.

Advantages

This docking station enables high-speed transfers and simultaneous use of two NVMe SSDs for expanded storage or quick data migration. The offline cloning feature allows standalone duplication of drives, while wide compatibility with M-Key and B+M-Key NVMe modules (2242, 2260, 2280, 22110) and a USB-C host interface ensures broad device support. No driver installation is required, and the supplied power adapter supports stable operation.

Suitable for

• IT professionals and system administrators performing SSD cloning or migrations
• Photographers, videographers and content creators needing fast offload and backup
• Users expanding external storage for PCs, notebooks and NAS
• Gamers and media users connecting to smart TVs or consoles via USB-C

How to use

Install compatible M.2 NVMe SSDs into the two M.2 slots, connect the docking station to a host device using the included USB-C cable, and power the unit with the supplied AC adapter. For data transfer or access, use the docking station in dual mode with a connected PC or notebook. To clone drives without a PC, insert the source and target SSDs, press the clone button and monitor the LED indicators for progress. The device supports hot-swapping, allowing SSDs to be inserted or removed during operation when connected to a host that supports hot-swap.

Recommendations

Use M-Key or B+M-Key NVMe SSDs in supported sizes and ensure the target drive has equal or greater capacity than the source for cloning. Always back up important data before performing cloning operations and follow proper handling procedures to avoid electrostatic discharge damage to M.2 modules.
