Externe SSD ADATA SC730 1 TB, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2, 600/600 MB/s, zwart, kunststof behuizing

ADATA SC730 is a compact 1 TB external SSD with integrated USB-C and USB-A connectors. Weighing 7.8 g and housed in a plastic body, the drive uses a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface (10 Gbit/s) to offer up to 600 MB/s read and 600 MB/s write speeds, making it suitable for fast file transfers, on-the-go backups and direct editing from the drive. The casing is made with 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and features a nano-imprinted surface that resists fingerprints.

Advantages

The dual-connector design eliminates the need for adapters or extra cables, enabling direct connection to Type-C and Type-A devices. High-speed USB 3.2 Gen 2 performance with UASP support provides low-latency transfers and the ability to open or edit large files directly from the drive. Lightweight and pocket-sized, the SC730 is compatible with multiple operating systems and can be used to expand storage for supported game consoles. The PCR material reduces environmental impact and the fingerprint-resistant surface maintains a clean appearance.

Suitable for

• Portable backups for smartphones, laptops and tablets (OTG-supported devices)
• Fast file transfers between computers and mobile devices
• Storing and accessing large media files for direct editing
• Expanding game storage on supported consoles
• Carrying a compact library of documents and media

For mobile devices, enable OTG if required and confirm the device supplies sufficient power to the SSD to avoid transfer errors. Some game consoles or operating systems may require reformatting the drive before use; follow console or system documentation for recommended file system and formatting steps.

Recommendations

For best results, use the SC730 with devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 2 and UASP drivers. Backup important data before formatting for console use and keep device firmware and host drivers up to date. Actual transfer speeds depend on host hardware, software configuration and file types.
