Externe USB-soundkaart LOGILINK UA0078, 7.1-kanaals, USB-interface, compact 124×194×34 mm, 80 g

The LOGILINK UA0078 is an external USB soundcard that provides 7.1 channel audio output through a simple USB connection. Designed for systems without dedicated multi-channel sound hardware, it delivers multi-channel playback compatibility for desktops and portable setups. The unit is compact and lightweight (124×194×34 mm, 80 g), making it easy to place next to a PC or carry with a laptop. Compatibility is focused on legacy Windows versions such as Windows XP, Vista and 7, enabling a straightforward upgrade path for older systems that need surround-capable audio output.

Advantages

The LOGILINK UA0078 offers 7.1 channel output over a standard USB host interface without internal installation, which simplifies use on machines that lack an internal soundcard. Its compact footprint and low weight reduce desk clutter and improve portability. Because it operates through USB, installation is non-invasive and reversible; the device can be connected or removed without opening the computer case. The external format also helps isolate audio hardware from some types of internal electromagnetic interference common in desktop PCs.

Suitable for

• Upgrading audio on desktop PCs that lack multi-channel sound hardware
• Adding surround output to older Windows XP, Vista or 7 systems
• Portable setups where a compact external sound interface is needed
• Multimedia playback and games that can use 7.1 channel output

How to use

If drivers are required by the target operating system, install the appropriate driver package according to the system prompts or the manufacturer's instructions. After recognition, select the external soundcard as the default audio output device in the system sound settings or audio application. Connect speakers or headphones to the corresponding output jacks and configure the speaker setup in the operating system to enable 7.1 channel playback.

Recommendations

For best results, use a direct USB port on the computer rather than an unpowered hub, and ensure speaker wiring matches the 7.1 configuration in the OS audio settings. On older Windows versions, confirm driver availability before purchase to guarantee compatibility.
