Fietsslang FISCHER 85122 — 24 inch (60,96 cm) met auto-(Schrader-)ventiel, ETRTO-norm

FISCHER 85122 is a 24" (60.96 cm) bicycle inner tube produced to ETRTO dimensional standards and equipped with an auto (Schrader) valve. Designed as a direct replacement for compatible 24" wheels, the tube provides airtight sealing and straightforward inflation at pumps and service stations that support Schrader valves. The construction and dimensions follow ETRTO guidance to ensure a consistent fit with tyres and rims specified for 24-inch systems.

Advantages

The Schrader valve design allows quick connection to common pumps and air compressors without adapters, while the standardized ETRTO sizing helps ensure compatibility with a wide range of 24" tyres and rims. The tube’s material and seam construction deliver reliable air retention for everyday cycling and urban use. Lightweight and compact when packaged, it is convenient to carry as a spare for routine repairs or replacements.

Suitable for

• Replacement inner tube for 24" bicycles and children’s bikes
• Everyday commuting and recreational cycling
• On-road and light off-road use with tyres sized for 24" ETRTO standards
• Carrying as a spare for tours, school runs, or city riding

Key specifications

• Tube diameter: 24" (60.96 cm) nominal
• Valve type: Auto (Schrader) valve compatible with standard pump heads and compressors
• Standards: Manufactured to ETRTO dimensional guidelines for compatibility
• Intended use: General-purpose bicycle inner tube for everyday cycling
• Packaging: Compact, rollable tube suitable for carrying as a spare

How to use

Install the tube by first removing the wheel and tyre according to the bicycle manufacturer’s instructions. Slightly inflate the replacement tube to give it shape, then insert it into the tyre and seat the tyre bead on the rim, taking care to avoid pinching the tube. Fully inflate to the tyre’s recommended pressure as indicated on the tyre sidewall, checking that the valve is properly seated and the tyre bead is evenly positioned around the rim. After inflation, inspect for any bulges or irregularities and recheck pressure before riding.

Recommendations

Use a pump or service station air supply compatible with Schrader valves. Match tyre pressure to the range printed on the tyre sidewall and avoid overinflation. When carrying a spare tube, protect it from sharp objects and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat. If repeated punctures occur, inspect the tyre and rim tape for embedded debris or damage before refitting.
