FISCHER fietsslang Dunlop-ventiel 40,60 cm (16 inch) — voor 16-inch wielen

FISCHER inner tube for 16" wheels with a Dunlop (Woods) valve, nominal size 40.60 cm, is a direct-replacement bicycle tube designed to restore proper inflation and rideability after punctures or damage. The tube is intended to fit 16" tires that correspond to the stated dimension and uses the Dunlop valve type commonly found on many bicycles, making inflation and pressure maintenance straightforward with compatible pumps.

Advantages

This inner tube provides a reliable replacement option for 16" wheels using a Dunlop (Woods) valve. The material and construction are chosen to balance flexibility and air retention, allowing for consistent tire pressure and smoother rolling. The Dunlop valve design offers easy seating in the rim and straightforward compatibility with standard Dunlop-compatible pumps and adapters. The tube’s compact dimensions make it suitable for small wheeled bicycles, children's bikes, and folding models that require a 16" tube.

Suitable for

• Bicycles with 16" wheels requiring a 40.60 cm inner tube
• Children’s bicycles and balance bikes with matching tire dimensions
• Folding bikes and scooters that accept 16" tyres
• Repair kits for on-the-road puncture replacement

Key specifications

• Tube size: fits 16" wheels (nominal diameter 40.60 cm)
• Valve type: Dunlop (Woods) valve
• Material: standard bicycle inner tube rubber (butyl)
• Intended use: replacement inner tube for pneumatic bicycle tyres
• Compatibility: designed for tyres with matching 16" diameter and corresponding width range

How to use

Remove the wheel from the bicycle, deflate and unseat the tire bead, then carefully extract the damaged tube. Inspect the tire and rim strip for sharp objects or damage before installing the replacement tube. Slightly inflate the new FISCHER tube to give it shape, insert the valve through the rim hole, and position the tube inside the tire. Re-seat the tire bead evenly around the rim, inflate to the manufacturer’s recommended pressure, and check that the tire is seated correctly and the valve is secure.

Recommendations

Before installation, verify that the tube size matches the tyre dimensions printed on the tyre sidewall. Use a pump compatible with Dunlop valves or an appropriate adapter. After fitting, check tyre pressure regularly and inspect the tyre for embedded debris to reduce the risk of repeat punctures.
