Fischer DuoHM 5 x 55 S PH TX grijs Torx 5 mm 55 mm

The Fischer DuoHM 5 x 55 S PH TX grey wall plug with included M5 x 55 screws is a cavity plug designed to cover common panel thicknesses from 9.5 to 30 mm with a single length. Combining a metal sleeve and a nylon base body, the DuoHM provides reliable anchoring in panel building materials while allowing the screw to be removed and refitted multiple times thanks to its metric internal thread.

Advantages

The DuoHM installs quickly and easily with a cordless screwdriver without additional setting tools, reducing installation time by up to 50% compared to conventional panel plugs. Its two-component design—metal sleeve and nylon body—meets high load requirements: the metal sleeve folds and presses against the rear of the panel while the nylon base knots in the building material. One plug length covers panel thicknesses from 9.5–30 mm for flexible and cost-efficient use. A nylon anti-rotation lock protects the panel surface from damage, and the narrow plug edge prevents the fixing from being visible behind the attachment. The metric internal thread allows repeated screwing and unscrewing; the supplied M5 x 55 screws are included but other metric screws of compatible dimensions may also be used.

Suitable for

• Mounting fixtures on panels and lightweight building boards (9.5–30 mm)
• Applications where repeated removal and reinstallation of screws is required
• Interior fittings where concealed fastening behind the attachment is desired

How to use

Drill a clearance hole of the appropriate diameter for the DuoHM plug into the panel material. Insert the plug until the narrow edge sits flush with the panel surface. Using a cordless screwdriver, drive the supplied M5 x 55 screw (or another compatible M5 screw) into the plug; the metal sleeve will fold behind the panel and the nylon body will form a knot in the board, creating the anchorage. The metric internal thread permits the screw to be removed and refitted several times if needed.

Recommendations

Use the DuoHM for panels and lightweight boards within the specified thickness range (9.5–30 mm). Pre-drill with the correct drill bit, avoid overtightening to prevent damage, and use compatible M5 screws if replacing the supplied screws.
