Filterframe EUROLITE PAR-64 Spot 42100995 zwart

The EUROLITE PAR-64 Spot 42100995 filter frame in black is a dedicated accessory for PAR-64 spot stage lighting fixtures. It is designed to hold color filters or diffusion gels securely in front of the lamp, allowing operators to alter light color and soften beam characteristics without modifying the fixture. The frame matches the diameter and mounting style of compatible PAR-64 spot lamps and provides a low-profile, stable solution for fast color changes during rehearsals, performances, and events.

Advantages

This filter frame offers a simple, tool-free method to attach and remove color gels and diffusion sheets, maintaining a tight fit that prevents sagging or light leaks. The black finish reduces reflections and helps the frame remain unobtrusive on stage. Constructed to align with standard PAR-64 optics, it preserves beam focus and minimizes vignetting when used with appropriate filters. Its straightforward design supports quick changes between scenes and lighting cues.

How to use

Align the filter frame with the front bezel of the PAR-64 spot fixture and slide or clip it into place according to the fixture’s mounting groove. Insert the chosen color gel or diffusion sheet into the frame, ensuring the material lies flat and covers the lamp aperture completely. Verify that the frame is seated securely and that the gel is not touching the lamp surface. Remove the frame by reversing the installation steps when changing filters or before replacing the lamp.

Recommendations

Use only heat-resistant filters or gels rated for the temperature of PAR-64 halogen or LED retrofit lamps. Allow gels to cool before handling and inspect filters regularly for signs of heat damage or warping. Ensure the frame is compatible with the specific PAR-64 fixture model to avoid fitment issues and maintain safe ventilation around the lamp.
