FISCHER fietsband 26 inch 1,95 breedte voor mountainbikes en stadsfietsen

FISCHER 26 inch 1.95 width bicycle tire is designed for use on mountain and city bicycles with standard 26" wheels. This tyre offers a compromise between rolling efficiency and grip, making it suitable for mixed-surface riding including paved roads, gravel paths and light trails. Compatible with common rim types, the tyre is intended as a standard replacement for everyday commuting and recreational cycling where reliability and straightforward fitment are required.

Advantages

The tyre combines moderate tread depth for traction with a profile that reduces rolling resistance on hard surfaces. Its 1.95-inch width provides lateral stability and improved comfort compared with narrow road tyres while remaining agile enough for urban manoeuvres. Constructed to fit standard 26" rims, the tyre is simple to install and maintain, offering dependable performance for regular use without specialized tools or procedures.

Suitable for

• Commuting on city streets and bike paths
• Recreational mountain biking on light trails and forest tracks
• Mixed-surface rides combining pavement and gravel
• Replacement of worn tyres on standard 26" wheel bikes

Key specifications

• Wheel diameter: 26 inches
• Tyre width: 1.95 inches
• Intended use: mountain and city bikes / mixed terrain
• Tread type: moderate tread for combined grip and rolling efficiency
• Compatibility: fits common 26" rims
• Installation: clincher-style tyre designed for standard inner tubes

How to use

Mount the tyre onto a compatible 26" rim following standard tyre fitting procedures: ensure the tyre bead seats evenly around the rim, partially inflate the inner tube to avoid pinching, then fully inflate to the recommended pressure found on the tyre sidewall. Check tyre seating and spin the wheel to confirm there is no rubbing against the frame or brakes. Regularly inspect the tyre for wear, cuts and embedded debris and maintain proper inflation to preserve handling and puncture resistance.

Recommendations

For general riding, inflate the tyre to a pressure that balances comfort and rolling resistance—typically within the range printed on the tyre sidewall. Lower pressures improve traction on loose surfaces but increase risk of pinch flats; higher pressures reduce rolling resistance on paved roads. Replace the tyre when tread depth is significantly reduced or when structural damage is visible. Use appropriate inner tubes and ensure valve type matches your rim.
