Key specifications

• Nominal wheel diameter: ~71.10–71.12 cm (28")
• Tire size designation: 28 x 1 3/8 – 1 5/8
• Compatibility: designed for use with standard inner tubes sized for 28" wheels
• Intended use: city riding and light touring on paved surfaces
• Mounting: clincher-style fit for compatible rims

How to use

Inspect the rim and inner tube for damage prior to installation. Deflate and remove the old tire, then check rim tape and valve access. Fit one bead of the FISCHER tire onto the rim, insert a properly sized inner tube, partially inflate the tube to remove folds, and then seat the opposite bead. Inflate to the manufacturer-recommended pressure appropriate for the tire size and load, checking that the bead seats evenly around the rim. After mounting, verify there is no pinch or bulge and confirm that the wheel spins freely without wobble.

Recommendations

Use tires with matching size markings for correct fit and safety. Maintain recommended inflation pressure for improved rolling resistance and puncture protection. Regularly inspect tread and sidewalls for cuts, wear, or embedded debris, and replace the tire if structural damage or significant wear is detected. For prolonged trips, carry a compatible spare tube, basic tools, and a pump sized for 28" valves.
