Fietsband Schwalbe Magic Mary Super Gravity — zwart/brons

Schwalbe Magic Mary Super Gravity — black/bronze is a high-performance mountain bike tyre engineered for aggressive trail and enduro riding. The tyre combines a soft, grippy tread compound with Super Gravity reinforced sidewalls to deliver improved stability and puncture resistance on rough, technical terrain. The black/bronze colourway provides a distinctive look while retaining the functional features that make Magic Mary popular among riders seeking confident braking and cornering performance.

Advantages

The Super Gravity construction provides increased sidewall protection and greater tyre stability at lower pressures, reducing the risk of pinch flats and sidewall damage on rocky sections. The tread pattern features pronounced central and shoulder knobs designed to maximise braking traction and cornering grip on loose and loamy surfaces. A soft compound improves bite on roots and wet rocks while the reinforced casing maintains durability for repeated impacts and hard landings.

Suitable for

• Aggressive trail riding and enduro stages
• Technical descents with rocks, roots and variable surface conditions
• Riders who prioritise traction and sidewall protection over minimal rolling resistance
• Mixed trails where reliable braking and predictable cornering are required

Key specifications

• Construction: Super Gravity reinforced sidewalls for increased stability and protection
• Tread: Aggressive knob pattern with pronounced central and shoulder knobs for braking and cornering grip
• Compound: Soft, high-grip rubber designed for traction on loose, wet and technical surfaces
• Use: Designed for trail and enduro applications with emphasis on descending performance
• Colour: Black tread with bronze sidewall accents

How to use

Install the tyre according to standard mounting procedures for tubeless or tube setups, ensuring correct bead seating and recommended rim compatibility. When fitting tubeless, use compatible sealant and follow manufacturer guidelines for seating and inflation. Adjust tyre pressure based on rider weight, terrain and riding style: lower pressures improve traction and comfort but increase the risk of pinch flats if set too low; higher pressures reduce rolling resistance but can reduce grip. Inspect the tyre regularly for cuts, sidewall damage and tread wear and replace when protection or grip has diminished.

Recommendations

For best performance on technical descents, run the Magic Mary Super Gravity at pressures that balance grip and puncture protection for your weight and rim width, and pair it with a compatible front or rear tyre that matches your desired handling characteristics.
