Fitting Alphacool 17093 messing zwart 22 mm hoogte 1 cm diameter

The Alphacool 17093 Brass Black fitting is a compact connector designed for liquid cooling systems. Manufactured from brass with a black surface finish, it provides a corrosion-resistant interface for tubing and components where a small form factor is required. With a height of 22 mm and a diameter of 1 cm, the fitting is intended to deliver a secure, low-profile connection while maintaining flow characteristics suitable for tight installations and custom cooling loops.

Advantages

The brass construction ensures mechanical strength and good thermal stability while the black finish adds surface protection and a uniform appearance in visible sections of a cooling loop. Its compact dimensions allow installation in confined areas without significantly altering flow geometry. The round 1 cm diameter and 22 mm height provide predictable fitment with compatible tubing and compression components, reducing the risk of leaks when installed correctly.

Suitable for

• Custom PC water-cooling loops with limited clearance
• Connections between radiators, pumps and water blocks in compact builds
• Retrofit or replacement fittings for small-diameter tubing
• Environments requiring corrosion-resistant brass hardware

Key specifications

• Material: Brass
• Finish: Black surface coating
• Height: 22 mm
• Outer diameter: 1 cm
• Intended use: Liquid cooling system fitting

How to use

Install the fitting by preparing the tubing end according to the tubing manufacturer's guidelines, ensuring a clean, square cut and removing any debris. Slide the tubing or compression collar over the fitting and secure it with the appropriate clamp or compression ring. Verify alignment with mating components and tighten connections to the torque recommended for the chosen clamps or fittings. After assembly, perform a pressure or leak test before returning the system to normal operation to confirm a secure seal.

Recommendations

Use compatible tubing with an inner and outer diameter suitable for the 1 cm outer diameter and follow coolant manufacturer guidance to avoid chemical incompatibilities. During installation and maintenance, check for signs of wear or corrosion and retest the loop after any component change. For optimal long-term reliability, avoid overtightening clamps and use a controlled leak test procedure.
