Flightcase Roadinger 31998012 multiplex zwart zilver 41,6 kg

The Roadinger flight case 31998012 is a robust transport case constructed from plywood with a black and silver finish, designed to protect professional equipment during transport and storage. At 41.6 kg it provides a stable, rigid enclosure suitable for heavy or sensitive gear. The case balances durability and functional design to support frequent handling by musicians, technicians and event crews.

Advantages

The plywood construction delivers high structural strength and resistance to impacts while the protective corners and metal edging reduce wear from repeated loading and unloading. Its finish combines corrosion-resistant metal hardware with a coloured exterior that simplifies identification in mixed equipment stacks. The weight and build quality contribute to steady stacking and secure transport in vehicles and on stages.

How to use

Open the case using the recessed latches and place equipment inside on removable foam inserts or mounting rails if available. Secure items to prevent movement during transit and close the lid, engaging all latches to ensure the case is fully sealed. Use the recessed handles or built-in wheels where provided to lift or roll the case, and observe safe lifting techniques to manage the case weight. For long-term storage, keep the case in a dry environment and avoid prolonged exposure to salt air to maintain metal hardware condition.

Recommendations

Handle the case on level surfaces and use two or more people for lifting heavy loads. Regularly inspect fittings and corner protectors for wear, and replace foam inserts if damaged to maintain effective protection of transported equipment.
