Fornuiskoffiemachine BIALETTI Moka Express 1TZ 1 kopje rood

The BIALETTI Moka Express 1TZ 1‑cup red is a compact stovetop coffee maker designed to brew a single serving of espresso‑style coffee. It uses the traditional moka pot principle with three main parts: a bottom water boiler, a middle basket for ground coffee and an upper collector chamber. The red finish and compact 1‑cup capacity make it suitable for small kitchens, travel and personal use on gas or electric stovetops.

Advantages

The BIALETTI Moka Express offers straightforward manual operation without electricity, quick brewing for one cup and a compact footprint that saves counter and storage space. Its simple three‑part design is easy to disassemble for filling and cleaning, and the red outer finish provides a durable, visible option for personal coffee preparation. The moka method extracts bold, concentrated coffee ideal for milk‑based or black espresso‑style drinks.

Suitable for

• Single servings of espresso‑style coffee at home
• Travel, camping or small kitchen use where space is limited
• Preparing concentrated coffee for use in milk‑based beverages (cappuccino, latte) or black coffee

Key specifications

• Capacity: 1 cup (single serving)
• Compatibility: designed for use on gas and electric stovetops
• Design: classic three‑part moka pot (water boiler, coffee basket, collector)
• Finish: red exterior
• Operation: manual, stovetop pressure extraction

How to use

Fill the bottom chamber with water up to the safety valve, insert the funnel‑shaped coffee basket and add ground coffee without tamping. Screw the top collector chamber on securely, place the assembled moka pot on a suitable stovetop heat source and heat until coffee begins to flow into the upper chamber. Remove from heat once brewing subsides and serve the espresso‑style coffee immediately. Allow the unit to cool before disassembly and cleaning.

Recommendations

Use medium‑fine ground coffee suited to moka pots, avoid overfilling the basket, and monitor the brew to prevent overheating. For electric hobs, ensure the base diameter matches the heating zone to maintain even heat. Regularly rinse and dry all parts after use to preserve appearance and function.
