Mokakan Alessi Moka 0,07 L grijs

The Alessi Moka pot is a compact stovetop espresso maker designed by architect David Chipperfield. With a 0.07 L capacity and an aluminium body, it adapts the classic Italian moka design with refined details such as a flat lid that doubles as a cup warmer. The pot has a grey handle and knob and is intended for users who prefer the traditional taste produced by an espresso-style coffee maker.

Advantages

Combining a familiar moka silhouette with modern refinements, this Alessi Moka pot offers space-saving dimensions and a lightweight aluminium construction. The flat lid provides a practical surface to preheat cups, while the ergonomic handle and knob in grey ensure comfortable handling and a cohesive look in small kitchens.

Suitable for

• Brewing small servings of strong, espresso-style coffee
• Use in compact kitchens or for single-serve preparation
• Warming cups on the lid before serving

Key specifications

• Capacity: 0.07 L
• Material: Aluminium body
• Handle and knob colour: Grey
• Width: 70 mm
• Height: 110 mm

How to use

Fill the bottom chamber with water up to the safety valve, insert the filter funnel and add ground coffee without tamping. Assemble the pot and place it on a heat source at low to medium heat. When the brewed coffee rises into the upper chamber and the flow reduces, remove the pot from the heat. Pour into preheated cups placed on the flat lid for optimal aroma and flavour.

Recommendations

Use medium-fine ground coffee suitable for moka pots, avoid excessive heat to prevent over-extraction, and clean the aluminium body with warm water and a soft cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners or dishwashers to preserve the finish and functionality.
