How to use

Preheat the carafe by rinsing with hot water, then add coarsely ground coffee and pour hot water up to the desired level. Stir gently to saturate grounds, place the plunger assembly on top to retain heat, let steep for the recommended time (typically 3–4 minutes), and then press the plunger down slowly and evenly to separate the grounds from the brewed coffee. Pour immediately to avoid over-extraction. For tea or infusions, follow steeping times appropriate to the selected leaves or herbs.

Recommendations

Use coarsely ground coffee for optimal extraction and cleaner filtration. Clean all components after each use; hand washing the borosilicate carafe and filter assembly is recommended to maintain longevity. Avoid sudden temperature shocks (do not move directly from boiling liquid to freezing conditions) despite the material's wide temperature tolerance.
