Fresnel-spot EUROLITE 41900520 500W halogeenlamp voor podium- en studiobelichting

The EUROLITE Fresnel spotlight 500W halogen lamp is a mid-power lighting fixture intended for stage, studio and event applications. Equipped with a Fresnel lens, the unit produces a soft-edged, even beam with adjustable focus, allowing control between spot and flood patterns. Its design supports front- and backlighting roles as key, fill or accent illumination in theatrical productions, video shoots and photographic setups where stable, continuous halogen output is required.

Advantages

The Fresnel lens creates uniform circular light with smooth edge transition, reducing hard shadows and providing predictable falloff. The adjustable focus mechanism allows quick change between narrow spot and wide flood beams without swapping optics. A robust housing and fixed mounting points deliver reliable positioning on stands, booms or grids. The fixture's halogen source provides continuous color rendering and dimming compatibility common to studio and stage control systems.

How to use

Mount the spotlight securely on an appropriate stand, clamp or grid using the integrated yoke and ensure all fastenings are tightened. Install a suitable 500W halogen lamp following the manufacturer’s lamp safety guidelines and ensure the fixture is connected to a compatible dimmer or switched power source. Use the focusing mechanism to move the lamp and lens assembly until the desired beam width and edge softness are achieved. For video or photographic work, adjust position and intensity to balance key and fill ratios and monitor color rendering under camera settings.

Recommendations

Use the Fresnel spotlight in ventilated indoor environments; allow lamp and housing to cool before handling. Match dimmer and cabling to the 500W load and maintain safe distances from flammable materials. For consistent color and lamp life, replace halogen lamps with identical specifications and avoid frequent on/off cycling.
