FTP Cat5e netwerkkabel LOGON 7 m, RJ-45 naar RJ-45, 1000 Mbit/s, blauw

Shielded FTP Cat5e networking cable LOGON 7 m with RJ-45 connectors at both ends provides a reliable physical link for Ethernet devices. The cable is built to Cat5e specifications and supports data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s, with a blue PVC jacket that protects the twisted pairs and offers basic mechanical protection for home and office installations.

Advantages

The FTP shielding reduces external electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables, improving signal integrity in environments with potential noise sources. The cable’s Cat5e specification ensures compatibility with common 100/1000BASE-T networks and network equipment such as routers, switches and patch panels. The 7 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across moderate distances while maintaining stable throughput.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs and laptops to routers or switches
• Linking network switches to patch panels in small office setups
• Wired connections for Smart TVs, gaming consoles and networked media players
• Temporary or permanent Ethernet runs where shielding is desirable

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e (FTP - foil shielded twisted pair)
• Maximum supported data rate: 1000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45 male to RJ-45 male
• Length: 7 m
• Insulation and jacket: PVC outer jacket, color: blue

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device and the other connector into the router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a proper mechanical connection. When routing the cable, avoid tight bends and kinks; maintain gentle curves and keep the cable away from large electrical equipment and power cables to minimize potential interference despite the shielding.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this shielded Cat5e cable in indoor environments and maintain bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter. When connecting to shielded network equipment or patch panels, ensure proper grounding of the shield to obtain the full benefit of FTP construction.
