Tips

For optimal performance, place the solar panel in a location that receives direct sunlight for most of the day. If you connect the optional Gardena Soil Moisture Sensor, the controller will automatically skip watering when the soil is sufficiently moist, saving water and promoting healthier plants. Before first use, fully charge the battery by exposing the solar panel to sunlight for at least one full day. In winter, remove the controller from the tap and store it indoors to protect the battery and internal components from freezing temperatures, even though it has integrated frost protection.
