Sprinklerbesturing RainPoint HIC801W WiFi — 8-zone beregeningscomputer, Wi-Fi-connectiviteit

RainPoint WiFi 8-zone sprinkler controller (HIC801W) offers centralized, app-driven management for up to eight irrigation zones plus a main valve. With direct Wi‑Fi connectivity and the RainPoint Home app, the unit supports independent programming of up to eight watering schedules, a calendar view for planned treatments, rain delay and integration with external soil moisture or rain sensors to skip cycles automatically. Built-in test buttons, valve-disconnect alarms and a multifunctional power interface increase installation flexibility and operational reliability.

Advantages

The RainPoint HIC801W provides precise, zone-specific control and remote operation via the RainPoint Home app on Android and iOS. Smart sensor compatibility (rain, soil moisture and RF wireless sensors) helps prevent overwatering and conserves water. The controller automatically adjusts start times based on valve sequence, displays exact start times in the app and gives audible/visual alerts for disconnected valves. The device accepts common AC power inputs and includes mounting hardware and an AC adapter for straightforward installation.

Suitable for

• Home lawns and garden irrigation
• Flowerbeds and ornamental plant watering
• Vegetable plots and small allotments
• Multi-zone irrigation systems up to 8 zones with a main valve

How to use

Mount the controller using the supplied screws and wall plugs and connect the AC adapter to the multifunctional power interface. Follow the user manual to connect the unit to your Wi‑Fi network and install the RainPoint Home app on your Android or iOS device. Add and name each of up to eight zones, connect valves and (optionally) a main valve. Configure watering schedules and use the calendar view to adjust treatment days. If using external sensors, connect the rain or soil moisture sensor and enable sensor mode in the app to allow automatic skipping of cycles when conditions indicate no watering is needed. Use test buttons to verify each zone connection before running a full cycle.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, install the controller in a sheltered location away from direct weather exposure, ensure stable Wi‑Fi coverage at the installation site, and periodically check valve connections and sensor calibration. Enable rain sensor or soil moisture sensor modes to maximize water savings and protect plants from overwatering.
