Gasdetector Nous NOUS-E9 — huishoudelijke gasalarm voor brandbare gassen met ZigBee-verbinding

Household Combustible Gas Detector NOUS E9 ZigBee Wireless Connectivity by Nous is a Zigbee 3.0 gas alarm designed for continuous monitoring of combustible gases in domestic environments. The device communicates over IEEE 802.15.4 and integrates with the Nous Smart Home app for smartphone control. It supports voice assistant control via Alexa and Google Assistant and operates across a standard 2.4 GHz Zigbee frequency range.

Advantages

The NOUS E9 uses Zigbee 3.0 protocol for low-latency, reliable wireless communication and is compatible with common smart home ecosystems. Compact dimensions (86 × 86 × 33.5 mm) and a semiconductor sensor provide stable detection performance. It meets CE and RoHS certification requirements and supports wide input voltage range AC 100–240 V, suitable for typical household power supplies.

Suitable for

• Home kitchens and utility rooms for early detection of combustible gas leaks
• Integration into Zigbee-based smart home systems using Nous Smart Home app
• Voice-controlled setups with Alexa or Google Assistant

How to use

Install the NOUS E9 on a wall or ceiling in the area to be monitored following local electrical safety rules and supply it with AC power (100–240 V). Pair the detector with a Zigbee hub or compatible Nous Smart Home gateway, then add the device in the Nous Smart Home app on a smartphone running Android 4.0+ or iOS 8.0+. After pairing, test the alarm function and configure notifications and voice-assistant integration as needed.

Recommendations

Place the detector where combustible gas is most likely to accumulate (e.g., near gas appliances but not directly above stoves), avoid installing in drafty spots or next to vents, and perform regular functional checks. Replace the device according to the typical 5-year lifetime or sooner if performance degrades.
