Geaarde stekker Brennenstuhl 9837560010 16 A 250 V — aardingsadapter voor elektrische apparaten

The Earthing contact plug Brennenstuhl 9837560010 16 A 250 V is a grounding adapter designed to provide a reliable earth connection for electrical devices where a direct protective-earth contact is required. This contact plug converts or adapts a plug without a protective-earth conductor so that connected appliances can obtain a conductive earth connection when used with compatible sockets and grounding systems. It is intended for use in domestic and light commercial environments to improve user safety and reduce electromagnetic interference related to inadequate earthing.

Advantages

This earthing contact plug offers a compact adapter form factor that facilitates easy installation without modifying existing wiring. Rated for 16 A and 250 V, it supports typical household and small-business appliances. The device is constructed to provide a secure conductive path to earth, reducing the risk of electric shock and helping to stabilize signal grounding for sensitive equipment. Its design allows quick connection and disconnection while maintaining mechanical and electrical stability during normal use.

Suitable for

• Appliances and devices lacking a built-in protective-earth connection but requiring grounding
• Home and office equipment where improved safety or reduced interference is needed
• Installation situations where an adapter is preferable to rewiring
• Temporary grounding solutions for maintenance, testing, or relocation tasks

Key specifications

• Rated current: 16 A
• Rated voltage: 250 V
• Function: grounding/earth contact adapter
• Form factor: contact plug adapter for sockets compatible with the rated values
• Typical application: domestic and light commercial electrical devices

How to use

Insert the earthing contact plug into a compatible earthed socket and connect the appliance plug to the adapter as intended. Ensure that the socket used provides a proper protective-earth connection before relying on the adapter for grounding. Do not force the plug; connections should fit securely and allow stable contact. Disconnect power before inspecting the adapter or the appliance plug to avoid electric shock.

Recommendations

Use the adapter only with devices and sockets that match the specified current and voltage ratings. Regularly check visual condition and mechanical fit, and avoid using the adapter in damp or wet locations. If in doubt about the earthing condition of a socket or for permanent grounding requirements, consult a qualified electrician to ensure compliance with local electrical regulations.
