Geheugenkaart Sony 256GB UHS-II SDXC G Tough SFG256T.SYM

The Sony 256GB UHS-II SDXC G Tough memory card delivers high-capacity storage and sustained high-speed performance for demanding photo and video workflows. Featuring a UHS-II interface and V90 speed class, this card supports fast write speeds required for recording high-bitrate 4K and burst RAW sequences. The G Tough construction provides enhanced durability with resistance to water, dust and shock while preserving a compact SD form factor for compatibility with cameras and card readers that accept SDXC UHS-II media.

Advantages

The card combines 256GB capacity with UHS-II performance and V90 classification to minimize buffer times and enable uninterrupted recording at high bitrates. Its reinforced design resists impact, moisture and contamination, reducing the risk of data loss in harsh shooting conditions. The SDXC form factor ensures broad compatibility with professional cameras and external readers that support UHS-II, while the compact size makes it easy to carry as part of a photographer or videographer kit.

Suitable for

• Recording high-bitrate 4K/8K video and professional video workflows
• Continuous burst shooting of high-resolution RAW images
• Fieldwork in challenging environments where water, dust or shock are concerns
• Use with UHS-II compatible DSLRs, mirrorless cameras and card readers

Key specifications

• Capacity: 256 GB
• Interface: UHS-II (SDXC)
• Speed class: V90 (suitable for sustained high-bitrate recording)
• Form factor: SDXC
• Durability: water-resistant, dust-resistant, shock-resistant construction

How to use

Insert the card into the SD card slot of a compatible camera or a UHS-II capable card reader. Format the card in the camera before first use to ensure optimal file system settings and compatibility with your device. When recording video or capturing high-speed bursts, monitor available capacity and card health through the camera’s status display and stop recording before the card reaches full capacity to avoid file corruption. For data transfer to a computer, use a UHS-II compatible reader to achieve maximum transfer speeds.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term use, avoid extreme temperatures and store the card in a protective case when not in use. Regularly back up footage to multiple storage locations after shoots. To maximize performance, pair this UHS-II card with cameras and readers that explicitly support UHS-II and V90 classifications.
