Genesis Gear Step-Down-ring 37mm naar 52mm zwart

When your lens has a 37mm filter thread but your favourite filters or accessories come in 52mm, this Genesis Gear step-down ring is the simple, solid answer. Instead of buying duplicate filters for every lens, you can use one set of 52mm filters across multiple lenses with smaller threads. The ring is machined from anodized aluminium, so it is lightweight yet durable, and the black matte finish reduces reflections and matches most equipment. The threads are precisely cut to standard photographic pitch, ensuring smooth attachment and removal without cross-threading.

Highlights

• Adapts 52mm filters to lenses with 37mm filter threads
• Made from anodized aluminium for corrosion resistance and light weight
• Matte black finish minimises glare and blends with your gear
• Solid metal construction with standard photographic threads
• Screw-on design for quick and secure mounting

In daily use

This step-down ring is a practical tool for photographers who want to streamline their kit. It lets you attach larger filters, such as polarisers or ND filters, to a lens with a smaller thread diameter. Because it is only about 6mm thick, it adds minimal bulk and does not interfere with lens operation. The ring's outer diameter is approximately 54mm, which provides a comfortable grip for tightening and loosening. It is universally compatible with any brand of lens and filter that uses standard filter threads.
