Gereedschapskist DeWalt DWST08520-1 metaal-kunststof, zwart en geel

DeWalt DWST08520-1 metal-plastic tool box combines a corrosion-resistant metal body with engineered plastic components in black and yellow to provide a robust and practical storage solution for hand tools and small parts. Designed for job sites, workshops and home projects, the box balances durability and manageable weight while enabling organized transport and secure containment of tools during movement and storage.

Advantages

The mixed-construction design uses a metal base and lid for structural strength with plastic corners and latches that resist impact and reduce rattling. The tool box offers reliable protection from mechanical stress and everyday wear while remaining easier to handle than a fully metal container. Integrated handles and reinforced hinges improve carrying comfort and long-term use. Compatibility with common tool organization accessories ensures straightforward interior arrangement of hand tools, fasteners and small parts.

Suitable for

• Tradespeople transporting hand tools between sites
• Workshop storage of screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches and measuring tools
• DIY home projects and maintenance tasks
• Organizing small parts such as screws, nuts and drill bits

Key specifications

• Construction: metal body with durable plastic components
• Color: black and yellow
• Intended use: storage and transport of hand tools and small parts
• Handles: integrated for carrying
• Closure: durable latches with reinforced hinges

How to use

Place tools and small parts inside the box with heavier items on the bottom to maintain balance during transport. Use internal compartments or divider accessories where available to separate different tool types and fasteners. Close and latch the lid firmly before lifting and use the integrated handle for carrying. For transport in vehicles, secure the toolbox to prevent sliding or tipping during transit.

Recommendations

To maintain longevity, avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and clean the interior periodically to remove debris and metallic dust. Inspect latches and hinges regularly and lubricate moving parts if necessary. For heavy or oversized tools, verify load distribution to prevent deformation of plastic components.
