Gezichtsherkenning hoofdeenheid Akuvox R29C-L LTE - video-deurintercom eenheid

The Akuvox R29C-L LTE — Facial recognition main body is a central video-intercom module designed for Video-TFE (telephone entry) systems. It provides on-device facial recognition and LTE network connectivity to enable secure door entry and access control where wired broadband may be unavailable or as a backup communication channel. Built for integration with peripheral panels and networked management systems, this unit handles visitor identification, event reporting and remote monitoring in residential and light commercial entrance installations.

Advantages

The module combines embedded facial recognition algorithms with LTE connectivity to ensure reliable authentication and continuous remote communication. Its role as the main body of a Video-TFE system simplifies integration with external cameras, door strikes and cloud or on-premises management platforms. Designed for access control environments, the R29C-L LTE supports fast identification, reduces the need for physical keys, and maintains operational availability even when primary networks are disrupted.

Suitable for

• Residential building entrances and apartment intercom systems
• Small offices, retail or light-commercial front doors
• Sites requiring remote visitor verification and remote door release
• Installations where wired network redundancy is needed via LTE

Key specifications

• Facial recognition: embedded on-device processing for real-time identification
• Network connectivity: LTE cellular support for primary or backup communication
• Integration: designed to work as a central module with peripheral panels, cameras, and access hardware
• Use environment: suitable for outdoor entrance mounting when combined with compatible housings and peripherals
• Power: compatible with standard access control power supplies (verify local installation requirements)

How to use

Install the R29C-L LTE main body as the central module of a Video-TFE system following local electrical and mounting regulations. Connect compatible peripheral panels, cameras, door release hardware and the building management or cloud platform according to the system architecture. Configure network settings to enable LTE connectivity and provision facial recognition templates using the management interface. Test camera alignment, identification performance and door release operation before placing the unit into regular service.

Recommendations

The unit is intended to be used with compatible Akuvox peripherals and approved mounting accessories; for optimal facial recognition accuracy ensure adequate lighting at entrance points and regular template management. Use LTE as a redundant or primary link where wired networks are unreliable, and follow privacy and local regulations when storing and processing biometric data.
