Glasvezel-jumperkabel ROLINE LC/LC OM3 50/125µm turquoise 2 m

The ROLINE Fibre Optic Jumper Cable LC/LC OM3 50/125µm in turquoise, length 2 m, is designed for high-performance multimode connections. With LC connectors on both ends and OM3-grade 50/125µm fibres, the cable supports short-range, high-speed data transmission with low insertion loss and low back reflection, suitable for data centers, server rooms and structured cabling installations.

Advantages

High-quality connectors and fibres combined with controlled assembly result in very low insertion loss and minimal reflection. The compact conductor design (fibre movable within the secondary coating) reduces mechanical stress on the glass fibre. Duplex construction and OM3 multimode fibre enable reliable, high-bandwidth links over short distances. The cable jacket includes Kevlar for tension relief and a PVC outer sheath for mechanical protection; its turquoise color follows the OM3 colour convention.

Suitable for

• Connecting network equipment in data centers and server rooms
• Patch panels and fibre distribution frames
• High-speed short-range multimode links (OM3)
• Office and structured cabling applications

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC/LC duplex
• Fibre type: Multimode 50/125µm, OM3
• Length: 2 m
• Cable construction: Duplex, compact conductor
• Reinforcement: Kevlar tension relief
• Outer sheath: PVC
• Diameter: approx. 2.8 x 6 mm
• Color: Turquoise
• Manufacturer: ROLINE, MPN 21.15.8702, EAN 7611990188413

How to use

Uncoil the jumper carefully to avoid kinks. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port until it clicks, following the network layout or patch panel labels. Maintain standard minimum bend radii for multimode fibre and avoid excessive tensile force despite the Kevlar reinforcement. For removal, depress the LC latch and pull straight out to prevent connector damage.

Recommendations

Handle connectors with dust caps until installation and keep connector endfaces clean. Use appropriate cleaning tools and inspect endfaces with a fibre microscope when necessary. Store the cable coiled without tight bends to preserve OM3 performance characteristics.
