Glasvezel-lasbox Rutenbeck 2280305060 SC Duplex MM x6 zwart 1U

Rutenbeck 2280305060 is a 1U fiber optic cable box designed for SC Duplex multimode (MM) connections with capacity for six ports. The unit fits standard 19" rack environments and is suitable for organized fiber patching and termination in server rooms, telecommunications cabinets, or wall-mounted enclosures. The black metal housing protects terminations and internal cabling while providing a compact footprint for installations that require space-efficient fiber management.

Advantages

The metal 1U housing provides mechanical protection and a stable mounting solution for fiber terminations. Its SC Duplex multimode layout supports up to six connections in a compact format, enabling denser patching without occupying additional rack units. The design facilitates straightforward cable routing and front-access patching, reducing handling time during installation and maintenance.

How to use

Mount the cable box into a standard 19" rack or secure it in a compatible wall enclosure using the provided mounting points. Route multimode fiber cables to the rear or sides as applicable, terminate or install pre-terminated pigtails, and connect SC Duplex adapters on the front panel. Ensure bend radii are respected and fibers are secured inside the housing to prevent stress on terminations. Label ports as needed for clear identification.

Recommendations

Use this box as part of a structured cabling system where compact 1U fiber distribution and SC Duplex multimode connections are required. Maintain recommended multimode fiber bend radius and keep connectors clean; regular inspection and cleaning of SC connectors will help preserve link performance.
