Glasvezel-patchkabel Digitus OM3 LC/LC 20m

The Digitus Fiber Optic Multimode Patch Cord OM3 LC/LC 20m is a 20-metre duplex cable designed for high-speed network connections. With a 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter and OM3 multimode specification, this LC-to-LC patch cord supports reliable data transmission in data centers and office networks. The I-VH cable type and durable connectors make it suitable for structured cabling where consistent performance is required.

Advantages

This OM3 LC/LC patch cord provides stable multimode performance over a 20 m length and ensures duplex communication between devices. The 50/125 µm fibre geometry and OM3 rating enable higher bandwidth and improved modal dispersion characteristics compared with lower-grade multimode fibres. LC connectors at both ends offer compact, standardized termination compatible with common network equipment.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, servers and patch panels in data centers
• Office network backbones and horizontal cabling
• High-speed multimode links (10 Gbps and above where OM3 is supported)

How to use

Inspect connector end faces for contamination before installation and clean if necessary using appropriate fibre optic cleaning tools. Plug the LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports on network devices or patch panels, observing duplex polarity to maintain transmit/receive alignment. Route the cable through cable management paths, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the manufacturer.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 LC/LC 20m patch cord for short- to medium-length multimode links in structured cabling. Verify device compatibility with OM3 multimode fibre for optimal performance and follow standard fibre handling procedures to preserve connector integrity.
